Connect Maestro Skills to Claude & ChatGPT
Read and update your Maestro goals, KPIs, initiatives, and dashboards from chat.
Maestro Skills connects your AI assistant to Maestro, the operating system for private-equity portfolio management. Once connected, you can ask about company performance and let the assistant pull goals, objectives, KPIs, initiatives, assessments, dashboards, and updates, then make changes, with a confirmation step before anything is written.
Prerequisites
- An active Maestro account with valid login credentials.
- An AI client that supports remote MCP connectors, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
- On Claude Team or Enterprise plans, only an organization Owner can add a custom connector. Once it has been added, each member connects individually. On Free, Pro, and Max plans you can add it yourself.
Connect
The connector is served from a single endpoint. Your workspace is selected during sign-in, so there is no per-user URL to look up.
https://mcp.go-maestro.com/mcp
From the connector directory
Search for Maestro Skills, click Connect, and complete the sign-in prompt. Claude redirects you to Maestro, where you choose your workspace and sign in with your Maestro credentials.
As a custom connector in Claude
Free, Pro, and Max
- Go to Customize → Connectors.
- Click +, then Add custom connector.
- Enter the connector URL above and click Add.
- Click Connect and complete the Maestro sign-in.
Team and Enterprise (Owner)
- Go to Organization settings → Connectors.
- Click Add, hover over Custom, and select Web.
- Enter the connector URL above and click Add.
Members then go to Customize → Connectors, find Maestro Skills, and click Connect.
Other MCP clients
The same URL works in ChatGPT and other clients that support remote MCP servers with OAuth. Follow your client’s instructions for adding a remote MCP server; no API key or client secret is needed.
Signing in
- Your client opens Maestro’s sign-in page.
- Select your workspace from the dropdown.
- Sign in as you normally would, then click Authorize.

Authentication & security
- OAuth 2.1 + PKCE. You sign in with your own Maestro credentials; the connector never sees or stores a password, and no static API keys are used.
- Scoped to your permissions. The assistant only ever sees and changes what your Maestro role allows. The connector cannot escalate beyond your account’s access.
- Confirm before write. Every tool that changes data asks the assistant to confirm the exact change before it is applied.
- Workspace isolation. Each connection is bound to a single Maestro workspace. Routing is driven by signed claims in your access token, not by client-supplied values, so data from other workspaces is never reachable through your connection.
- Data residency. Your workspace’s data stays within the region that hosts it.
- Revoking access. Disconnect Maestro Skills in your AI client’s connector settings at any time. To revoke every active session for your account, contact support.
Data & privacy
The connector accesses the Maestro data your account is authorized to see (goals, initiatives, objectives, KPIs, dashboards, company and portfolio records, updates, and wiki content) so the assistant can act on your requests. It does not access data outside your authorized Maestro workspace.
For how connector data is collected, used, and protected, see the Maestro Skills Connector Privacy Policy.
